Iran Import Orders

  • EghtesadOnline: An official with the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran said the registration of import orders has resumed at import registration website (Sabtaresh.tpo.ir), following the government’s new foreign currency regulations, and “there is no problem in this regard”.

  • EghtesadOnline: The ban imposed by the Industries Ministry on import orders based on US currency seems to be a win for the European currency.

  • EghtesadOnline: Based on a directive issued by the Ministry of Industries, Mining and Trade, the ministry-affiliated National Trade System announced that as of Wednesday, all traders are prohibited from registering their import orders using the US dollar.
