Employment

  • EghtesadOnline: The services sector employed 50.4% of the Iranian employed population (11.66 million) in the fourth quarter of last Iranian year (Dec. 21, 2020-March 20), 2.3% less than the corresponding period of the preceding year, whereas industrial and agricultural sectors provided 33.8% and 15.8% of the jobs respectively.

  • EghtesadOnline: The services sector employed 48.1% of the Iranian employed population (11.32 million) in the second quarter of the current fiscal year (June 21-Sept. 21), which is 1% less than those employed in the corresponding period of last year.
