EghtesadOnline: An Iranian delegation is planning to visit China’s Hi-Tech Fair, also known as CHTF 2019, from Nov. 10-14 in Shenzhen to expand bilateral ties and collaborations with innovative and knowledge-based companies and startups in the host country.

Headed by Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology, the delegation will include owners of 60 local tech companies and researchers, ISNA reported.

Identifying and monitoring potential markets for Iranian technological products are among the main goals of the delegation.

The Iranian delegates will also meet their Chinese counterparts and discuss opportunities of cooperation in different areas, Financial Tribune reported.

On the sidelines of the fair, researchers will introduce their scientific findings and latest achievements in a conference.

The fair's website says CHTF, a major scientific and technological exhibition in China, integrates the exchange of achievements, exhibition of products and high-level forums for attracting merchants and promoting cooperation.

The annual fair will bring together nearly 3,000 exhibitors from more than 50 countries. Usually, the event is visited by over 500,000 people.

The event focuses on advanced technologies and products on energy conservation, environment protection, information technologies, manufacture of high-end equipment, electronic and optoelectronic systems, touch display screens and new energy vehicles.

Based on the scheduled plan, the Iranian delegation will also visit the host country’s tech centers.
