25 killed or missing in Plasco fall - says source
EghtesadOnline: At most 25 people have been killed or missing in the Plasco Trade Center building collapse downtown Tehran, according to Jalaleddin Maleki, the spokesman of Tehran Fire Department.
The 17-storey Plasco Trade Center collapsed in Tehran on Thursday morning after firefighters failed to extinguish the fire in the building.
Speaking to reporters, Maleki said 16 of the said 25 people are firefighters, the dead bodies of two of them were pulled out of the rubble and another one was found alive who later succumbed to injuries and burnings in the hospital.
Noting that the death toll and the number of missing announced by non-official channels are baseless, he called on people to pay attention to reports released by official sources and the state television, according to IRNA.
