Iran’s Shamkhani, Russia’s Patrushev in phone call discuss Syria
EghtesadOnline: Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani and his Russian counterpart Nikolai Platonovich Patrushev discussed recent political, security and military developments in Syria after the establishment of latest cease-fire in the country in a phone call on Monday.
During this phone call, the two parties stressed on the necessity of continuing consultation in order to advance political process in Syria crisis.
They also talked about the ways to strengthen and continuation joint fight against extremists especially al-Nusra Front and ISIS until the complete destruction of them, ISNA reported.
