EghtesadOnline: Iran's Presidential Chief of Staff Mohammad Nahavandian met on Thursday with President Johann Schneider-Ammann of Switzerland to discuss ways to widen Tehran-Bern relations.

Nahavandian arrived in Switzerland on December 7 (Wednesday evening) to discuss promotion of bilateral banking relations and financial cooperation in meetings with the Swiss president and bankers, IRNA reported.

Nahavandian's visit to Switzerland aims at finalizing issues discussed in previous talks held between presidents of the two countries in New York on expansion of banking cooperation between Iran and Switzerland. The talks were held on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly meeting in September.
