EghtesadOnline: Special Advisor to Majlis Speaker Hossein Amir Abdollahian said on Sunday that Iran considers diplomatic dialogue the only way out of Syrian crisis and welcomes any measure in that respect.
In a meeting with the Head of Mauritania Parliamentary Friendship Group Mohammad Valad Fal on Sunday, Amir Abdollahian said clashes and discords among Islamic countries are in line with the Zionist regime and certain global players' policies.
According to IRNA, he further noted that the issue of Palestine is the prime issue of Islamic world and Muslim states should not forget the main issue.
Establishment of Iran-Mauritania parliamentary friendship group in Iranian Majlis can help contribute a lot to expansion of bilateral ties, he said.
Underlining significance of political, economic and cultural communications between Iran and the African states, especially with Mauritania, the official said that Iran attaches special significance to consolidation of relations with them in all fields.
Mohammad Valad Fal, for his part, described Iran as a major and influential country in the region and Islamic world, and said Mauritania's policy is to promote relations with Islamic states, Iran in particular.
Forming parliamentary group is a move in line with consolidating political exchanges, he said.
Western media propaganda against Iran is aimed at sowing discord among Muslim states, he said, noting that creating tribal stifle among religious groups are among the permanent policies of the enemies of the Islamic Ummah and vigilance of the Islamic states can foil their plots.
Mauritanian official also stressed the need for parliamentary coordination and implementation of agreements signed by the two countries earlier.
The issue of Palestine should be consigned into oblivion as the Zionist regime and western states are hatching plots to make it being forgotten, he said.
