Spokesman slams anti-Iran UN human rights resolution
EghtesadOnline: Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qasemi dismissed the recent anti-Iran human rights resolution by the United Nations as politically-motivated.
'The UN General Assembly's human rights resolution against Iran is politicized and is unacceptable,' Qasemi said on Tuesday night.
'Unfortunately this resolution is based on a selective approach and with biased political objectives and without considering the realities of Iran,' he added.
The foreign ministry spokesman said that the bitter historical irony of the resolution is the convergence of the Zionist regime, Saudi regime and few other countries which are devoid of democracy and freedom in the region, IRNA reported.
