US president duty-bound to veto Iran Sanctions Act: FM
EghtesadOnline: An informed source in Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday that legislation of US lawmaker do not mean extension of Iran Sanctions Act (ISA) and US president is duty-bound to veto them.
He said that however, Iran has prepared suitable options for all the situations, IRNA reported.
Members of US House of Representatives late on Tuesday extended the oppressive ISA for another 10 years with 419 votes for and one against.
The ISA forms the basis for energy, banking and defense sanctions against Iran's nuclear and missile activities.
