EghtesadOnline: President Hassan Rouhani said on Sunday his visit to Khuzestan province aims at tackling its current problems.
Making the remarks upon arrival in this southeastern city, he said that during the visit he will go to Shalamche border point to see off the huge crowd of Iranian pilgrims who are passing into Iraq on the occasion of Arabeen.
He said he will inaugurate a border terminal there, according to IRNA.
The president also said that he will launch two water projects as well as new control systems for the railway route travelling south of country.
President Rouhani said he will put into operation three of most important oil projects in the province namely Yadavaran, Azadegan and Yavaran and visit an agricultural project which will cover 550,000 hectares of lands in the province.
President Rouhani’s first tour of the province took place in January 2013.
