Iranian FM, Syrian Dy FM confer on campaign against terrorism
EghtesadOnline: Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Monday conferred with Syrian Deputy Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad about campaign against terrorism and extremism.
Zarif and Mekdad discussed bilateral issues, the latest developments in Syria as well as planning trilateral meeting in Moscow.
They emphasized the need for regular consultations with Moscow on collective campaign against terrorism in Aleppo, according to IRNA.
Mekdad appreciated Iran's stances on regional issues, especially Syria.
He said that Iran is on frontline of campaign against terrorism and extremism.
He called for regular consultations among the Syrian friends.
