Iran President appoints third woman in his cabinet
EghtesadOnline: Zahra Ahmadipour has been appointed as the head of Iran’s Cultural Heritage, Handcrafts and Tourism Organization.
Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani appointed Zahra Ahmadipour as the director of the country’sCultural Heritage, Handcrafts and Tourism Organization.
Ahmadipour, who is also an assistant professor in the geography department at well-known universities in Iran, is considered as the third woman in Rouhani’s cabinet. She previously worked in the country’s interior ministry.
According to ISNA, Iran Cultural Heritage Handcrafts and Tourism Organization is an educational and research institution overseeing numerous associated museum complexes throughout Iran.
The former head of the organization was Masoud Soltanifar, taking office on 1 February 2014.
