EghtesadOnliner: Foreign Minister Mohammed Javad Zarif announced on Saturday his plans to visit Russia and North Korea to hold talks with his counterparts and other officials.

In a talk with IRIB News, the top diplomat said he will travel to Moscow in the coming days to hold talks on a range of issues, including the implementation of the 2015 nuclear deal between Iran and world powers.

He also criticized the European parties to the agreement for failing to deliver on their pledges to ensure Tehran’s financial interests under the deal after the US pullout last May.

In addition, Zarif said he plans to pay a visit to Pyongyang, Financial Tribune reported.

“The date of this trip will be set and announced soon,” he said, but gave no further details.

North Korea’s top diplomat, Ri Yong-ho, whose country faces international and US sanctions, visited Iran in August as the US reintroduced sanctions against Tehran.
