EghtesadOnline: Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi dismissed the Saudis' 'unreal' claim that Saudi diplomatic centers in Iran were visited.

'The visas for Saudi delegates to visit diplomatic centers were issued one month ago,' Qasemi said on Tuesday.

He told IRNA that Saudis' claim were wrong and unreal, adding, 'It seems that possibly the claims were raised without any coordination with the relevant informed officials of the Saudi Foreign Ministry.'

He went on to say that the agreement in that connection was mutual and bilateral and after acceptance of the Principle of Reciprocity by the Saudi Foreign Ministry, the Iranian party issued visas for the Saudi delegation about one month ago.

He added that the license for exclusive flight of the delegation was issued within the shortest possible time and the delegation was to arrive in Tehran on Sunday but they themselves asked for postponement of the visit to get necessary preparedness.

He added that it seems that having observed the good will and speedy fulfillment of measures by the Iranian party, the Saudi party was stunned and as usual, started making excuses and play games and excluding exceptions for visa issuance an license for the flight, there was no room to seen excuses and justify procrastination of the Saudi party.

A Saudi foreign ministry official claimed that despite lapse of one and half years from attack on Saudi Embassy in Tehran, Iranian officials did not allow completion of the investigation into the issue and Iranian consulate office in Mashad and Iran tried in light of severance of ties to gain diplomatic advantages inside Saudi soil.
