Iran condemns terrorist attack in Iraq
EghtesadOnline: Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qasemi Tuesday condemned terrorist explosions in Iraq which resulted in death of several people.
Qasemi offered his condolences to the bereaved families of victims and the Iraqi government and people, IRNA reported.
This terrorist attack in the holy month of Ramadan is a clear example of terrorists' hostility towards real Islam and Muslims, he added.
Qasemi said that this is the last desperate effort by terrorists to exit the difficulties of recent defeats in Iraq.
He pointed to the Iraqi Army and volunteer forces' victories in Mosul and voiced hope that the country will be completely cleaned of terrorists.
'The Iraqi armed forces are close to final victory,' the spokesman added.
Explosion of a car bomb in the Karrada region of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, resulted in death of 15 people and injury of 55.
