EghtesadOnline: Iranian ambassador to Russia Mehdi Sanaei announced the upcoming trip of Russian vice Prime Minister to Tehran and the start of constructing 4 new thermal power plants in Iran.

“In next few days Russian vice Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin heading a delegation will travel to Tehran and meet Iranian defense minister and vice president of science and technology affairs in order to discuss cooperation in these regards,” he said.

According to ISNA, Russian deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov will also visit to Tehran to discuss developing bilateral trade and economic relations between Iran and Russia as well as expanding cooperation between Tehran and the Eurasian Economic Union.

During this period, Russian energy minister and trade minister of Eurasian Economic Union will also travel to Iran.

In next few days, the ceremony of the start of constructing 4 new thermal power plants will be held.

Trade conference of Iran and Russia will be also held from February 20-22 in Tehran with private sector representatives and several hundred business representatives of both countries in attendance.
