Zarif, Mogherini discuss issues of mutual interest
EghtesadOnline: The visiting European Union Foreign Policy chief Federica Mogherini met with the Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Saturday morning.
The two officials discussed mutual cooperation as well as Syria developments.
The EU chief arrived here Friday night to discuss major regional issues, Syria in particular, with senior Iranian officials, reports IRNA.
She is going to meet with President Hassan Rouhani as well.
Her visit to Tehran takes place only hours after the Iranian, Russian and Syrian foreign ministers held a tripartite meeting in Moscow on Friday and exchanged views on the latest developments in Syria.
