Iran to sign six more oil deals with int'l companies: Oil official
EghtesadOnline: An official at the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) has announced that ten oil contracts have already been signed with the international companies, and six more will be inked soon.
Gholam Reza Manouchehri, Deputy for Engineering and Development Affairs of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), made the announcement while addressing an oil meeting here on Sunday, reports IRNA.
The foreign companies will play a major role in development of the big oil fields, but should work with the Iranians when implementing the projects, the official said.
In new contracts, Iranian companies can play a role as the major part in development projects on the small-and medium-sized fields, said the official, adding they can also use the foreign companies' services.
