Iran Dy FM consults with Syrian counterpart from Lausanne by phone
EghtesadOnline: Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab-African Affairs Hossein Jaberi Ansari consulted with Syrian Deputy Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad from Lausanne International Conference on Syria Saturday.
Jaberi Ansari is currently in Lausanne, Switzerland, with Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif to attend International Conference on Syria.
In a telephone conversation with Faisal Mekdad, Jaberi Ansari reviewed the latest developments in Syria, according to IRNA.
International Conference on Syria is to kick off in Lausanne on Saturday afternoon local time in presence of foreign ministers of Iran, Russia, US, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Egypt and Qatar.
