EghtesadOnline: Iran’s Minister of Defense Brigadier General Hossein Dehghan said Saudi Arabian leaders must be punished for their war crimes in Yemen.

Iranian high-ranking official stressed the importance of putting Saudi leaders in trial due to their violent and criminal acts in Yemen, saying all countries and nations in the world must object to these violent acts and call for their swift punishment.

He underlined, “Saudi leaders must be tried in international courts for their war crimes. They must not be unanswered. “

Dehghani went on to say that Saudi rulers had been killing defenseless people, which is an undeniable crime, adding it cannot be pardoned or justified, reports ISNA.

Saudi-led coalition's airstrikes on Saturday targeted a funeral ceremony killing more than 140 and injuring more than 525 civilians.
