EghtesadOnline: Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi advised the MEPs (Members of the European Parliament) to adopt realistic views towards Iran.

He made the remarks in reaction to the approval of a document called the “EU strategy towards Iran after the nuclear agreement” in the European Parliament's Committee on Foreign Affairs.

Speaking to the Iranian media, Qasemi said that some parts of the document, particularly those parts that are about the human rights in Iran, are unrealistic and affected by anti-Iranian propaganda, reports ILNA.

'Despite the positive aspects of EP document, adopting an unrealistic position towards human rights in Iran is questionable and harmful,' the official added.

Urging the MEPs to be vigilant towards anti-Iranian propaganda and not being influenced by it, he said that accusing Iran of violation of human rights could be regarded as interference in Iran’s internal affairs.
