EghtesadOnline: President Hassan Rouhani will embark on a visit to Malaysia and later on Friday to Thailand to attend the Asian Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) meeting after wrapping up his journey to Vietnam.

“President Rouhani will confer with senior Malaysian officials in Kuala Lumpur on bilateral ties, including in the fields of industrial and technological cooperation,” Deputy Head of Presidential Office for Communications and Information Dissemination Parviz Esmayeeli said on Tuesday.

Esmayeeli said that President Rouhani will meet Malaysian prime minister and the Asian country’s elite during his stay in Kuala Lumpur, according to IRNA.

He went on to say that the president will also deliver a speech at the 2nd ACD Summit in Thailand and meet his counterparts from the Asian countries on the sidelines of the summit.

The Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) is an inter-governmental organization created on June 18, 2002 to promote Asian cooperation at a continental level and to help integrate separate regional organizations such as ASEAN, SAARC, the Gulf Cooperation Council, and the EAEU.
