EghtesadOnline: Minister of Road and Urban Developments Abbass Akhoundi said on Saturday that representatives of Airbus and Boeing companies are to visit Iran this week for negotiations on the plan to refurbish Iranian ageing air fleet.

Speaking to reporters, he said that technical talks with both companies are underway to ease procurement of the new planes.

The certificates issued by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the US Department of Treasury, account for preparatory works for such purchases, he said.

According to Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development for international affairs Asqar Fakhrieh the Boeing representatives have visited Iran four times and the two sides have signed a deal to avoid the classified information leak.
