EghtesadOnline: Senior official with the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) Gholamreza Manouchehri said talks are still going on with India on development of Farzad-B gas field.

Manouchehri who is a deputy for the oil company for development and engineering affairs told IRNA in an exclusive interview that the date of an agreement with any foreign companies on development of any Iranian oil fields is not fixed yet, reports IRNA. 

He said tenders are planned to be held in future for this purpose.

Earlier, the official had noted that signing deals with foreign countries for oil field development plans will be possible upon the approval of high ranking Iranian officials.

The Farzad-B gas field has in-place reserves of up to 21.68 trillion cubic feet (Tcf), 12.8 Tcf of which may be recoverable.
