Iran, Germany discuss establishing joint research center
EghtesadOnline: Iran and Germany are mulling establishing a university or joint research center.
A German delegation comprising of Volker Rieke, Deputy Head and Acting Director General of Directorate-General & European and International Cooperation in Education and Research (German Federal Ministry of Education and Research) discussed cooperation with an Iranian academic delegation from Science and Industry University where they stressed boosting bilateral relations in global warming, shortage of water resources and new energies, according to ISNA.
Dr. Shah-Hosseini Director of Academic and International Cooperation of the university outlined capabilities of the university in various fields.
Volker Rieke, for his part, presented a report on ways of bilateral academic cooperation between Germany and other countries.
The two sides also discussed establishing a university or joint scientific center.
