Mehrabad Registers Highest Traffic of Air Passengers

Mehrabad International Airport was the busiest Iranian airport during the Norouz holidays (March 15-April 4).

The Tehran-based airport registered 812,760 passengers transported by 6,773 flights during the period, registering a 4% year-on-year rise to top the list of domestic airports in terms of the number of passengers, takeoffs and landings, the news portal of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development reported.

All domestic flights to/from Tehran are operated at Mehrabad International Airport.
