Q3 Unemployment at 14.8% for 18-35 Age Group: SCI
EghtesadOnline: The unemployment rate for those aged between 18 and 35 years stood at 14.8% in the third quarter of the current Iranian year (Sept. 23-Dec. 21, 2022), according to the Statistical Center of Iran.

For those between 15 and 24 years, it stood at 19.2%.
Iran’s overall unemployment rate, the proportion of the jobless population of ages 15 and above, stood at 8.2% in Q3, indicating a 0.7% year-on-year decrease.
A total of 2.13 million Iranians were unemployed in Q3.
Men’s unemployment stood at 7% while the rate for women hovered around 14.3%.
Over 1.52 million men and 616,350 women of ages 15 and above were jobless in Q3.
