EghtesadOnline: Tehran is hosting the 14th International Exhibition of Plastics, Rubber, Machinery and Equipment, also known as “IRAN PLAST 2021”.
The event opened at Tehran’s International Exhibition Center on Feb. 7 and will run through Feb. 10.
The opening ceremony was attended by Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh and the heads of Iranian Parliament’s energy and industries commissions, as well as ambassadors of Russia, Tajikistan, Armenia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Bangladesh, Thailand, Kenya and Venezuela to Iran.
In this year’s edition, 67 companies are showcasing their capacities in raw material production, 26 are exhibiting their machinery and equipment, 97 their fabricated and prefabricated products and 10 the range of technical and engineering services they can offer, IRNA reported.
A total of 197 Iranian enterprises as well as three companies representing foreign producers are taking part in the four-day event.
“IRAN PLAST 2021” is also being held on an online platform where 73 domestic and two foreign companies are attending. The online event will run for three weeks.
