Huge Rise in Flu Vaccine Imports

EghtesadOnline: Over 38,184 kilograms of influenza vaccines worth $28 million were cleared from the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration from the beginning of the current Iranian year(March 20) to Nov. 9, indicating an increase of 70% in weight and 57% in value compared with the corresponding period of last year.

According to Rouhollah Latifi. spokesman of IRICA, customs clearance of 13,253 kilograms of imported flu vaccine is also in progress and they eill be discharged soon, IRNA quoted the official as saying last week.
