Clothing & Shoes Inflation at 32.9%

EghtesadOnline: The average goods and services Consumer Price Index of clothing and shoes in the 12-month period ending Aug. 21, which marks the end of the fifth Iranian month, increased by 32.9% compared with last year’s corresponding period.

With a coefficient of 4.78%, the CPI of the group, among 12 groups of the basket of consumer goods and services purchased by households, stood at 255.4, indicating a 3.3% increase compared with the month before.

The clothing and shoes index registered a year-on-year increase of 32.7% during the month under review, the Statistical Center of Iran reported.
