Foreign Investment in Alborz Province
EghtesadOnline: Around $519 million worth of foreign investments have been made in Alborz Province since the beginning of President Hassan Rouhani’s tenure in August 2013, an official with the provincial governorate said.
“Our priority is joint investments between local and foreign economic players,” Ebadollah Kamkar also told IRNA, adding that this paves the way for technology transfer while providing local industries with better access to international markets.
Alborz is situated 35 km west of Tehran, at the foothills of the Alborz mountains. It is Iran’s smallest province in area, according to Financial Tribune.
