EghtesadOnline: In the closing two months of 2016 a new automotive website banban.ir entered the increasingly overcrowded online car sales market. Banban.ir, an Iranian-funded startup, does what many other sites do, listing the price of new and used vehicles.

The site is registered to a Moussa Lotfi from Eyvan Ilam Province. However, two months in the job the site seems to be struggling against the already established competition, with SW, an analytics site saying, it had just 106 views in November. Other entrants in the crowded vehicle sales market include, supap.ir, who also barely had 191 visitors in November. Meanwhile, other sites like bama.ir, the market leader in this industry, had 2.5 million views in November. Compared to its peers, Bama retained its lead from inception in 2011 with a lead over its nearest rival start.ir, with just 11,700 views in November.
