EghtesadOnline: The value of commodities exported abroad from Semnan province in central north of Iran has experienced a growth of 18 percent in the past nine months, a senior local official said on Saturday.

Speaking to IRNA, Director General of Semnan province Customs Office Ali Saadeddin said that Seman has exported 245,384 tons of goods worth of 106.8 million dollars during the period (March 20- December 20, 2016).

The goods were exported to 34 countries including Iraq, Afghanistan, Korea Republic, Pakistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Tanzania, UAE, Armenia, Taiwan and China, said the official.

He added referred to the exported items as washing powder, light and heavy hydrocarbon, cement, salt, pipe, acid sulfuric, frozen chicken, car paint.

Semnan province customs have also issued cargo clearance for 18,301 tons of good worth of over 33, 5 million dollars, Saadeddin added.

He said the machineries and equipment needed for the production lines, bus and minibus components were among the commodities entered the county from Kerman custom in the said period.

Iran imported commodities from 24 countries including Germany, UAE, Turkey, China, UK, Korea Republic, Italy, Netherland, Taiwan and Switzerland, Saadeddin added.

He noted that during the past nine months, Kerman province custom also witnessed an increase of income compared to the previous year earning 80.32 billion dollars.
