EghtesadOnline: Gas output from phase 21 was tapped to the nationwide network after receipt of export license from the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC).

Executive director of the project for development of phases 20 and 21 of South Pars Ali-Reza Ebadi said that round-the-clock efforts of Iranian experts, enabled the operator to tap sour gas of offshore part of the project to nationwide network for sweetening, thus raising the capacity to provide winter fuel supply.

According to IRNA, he said the pre-commissioning operations in the units of the refinery for gas supply indicates successful operation of the refinery .

Since two months ago, the first sweetening station of the refinery, using sour gas of phases six, seven and eight of South Pars, was prepared and all the pre-commissioning stages of the phase have been completed. 

The official said that platform of the phase 21 is now ready and enjoys all necessary conditions for full production (480 million cubic feet gas).

By end of the current year, the project for development of phases 20 and 21 of South Pars will reach the target ouput capacity.
