EghtesadOnline: Secretary General of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Fang Liu said on Sunday that Iran's aviation status is now improving.

Liu also called for setting up educational courses and renovation of the country's aviation system.
Majlis representative for Assyrian minorities Younaten Bot Kelia said on Sunday that during their visit to Canada, they met with ICAO secretary general on the current status of Iran's aviation and the latest achievements and updated standards in force in Iran's air transportation, reports IRNA. 
In the meeting, the ICAO secretary general voiced readiness for any type of cooperation with Iran in the sector, he said. 
They also exchanged views on regional and global developments, he said, adding that Iran asked the ICAO to shift its regional bureau from Cairo to Iran. 
It was also agreed that ICAO secretary general, leading a delegation, to visit Iran.
