Rouhani: Conditions prepared for economic development

'What has ensured security in the country and society today is the awakening, vigilance, awareness and solidarity inside the country,' the Iranian President noted.

Had the Islamic system not respected minorities and not focused on religious unity, terrorist groups of Daesh and al Qaeda would have made their presence in the country, Rouhani stressed.

The 22nd International Press Exhibition which opened here Friday evening hosts over 900 press organizations in 620 pavilions.

This year's press event focuses on 'transparency and honesty' as its motto.
