Egg Exports Exceed 10K Tons in 1 Month

EghtesadOnline: I ran exported more than 10,000 tons of eggs to neighboring countries, such as Iraq, Afghanistan, Oman and Qatar, in the first month of the current Iranian year (March 20-April 19), says Reza Torkashvand, the head of Producers of Egg-Laying Hens Union.

According to the official, egg exports are projected to reach 70,000-80,000 tons by the end of the current fiscal year (March 2021), IRNA reported.

“Iran produced about 1.1 million tons of eggs in the last fiscal year that ended on March 19, 2020, over 41,000 tons of which were exported,” he added.
