IMIDRO, IRISL Sign Mineral Transport MoU
EghtesadOnline: Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines to boost cooperation in the field of mineral transportation.
“The MoU has become effective since March 20,” Khodadad Gharibpour, IMIDRO’s chief, said, adding that the main goals of the agreement involve assigning exclusive vessels for carrying minerals, reducing transportation costs of mining products and creating a systematic communication system between exporters and customers, Mehr News Agency reported.
