About 6.40 billion shares valued at 42.8 trillion rials ($310.19 million) changed hands at TSE for the day, Financial Tribune reported.
Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.
Hafez Tiles Company was the biggest winner as its shares went up 39.57% to 10,271 rials per share.
Iran Automobile Parts Industrial Group Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 9.4% to 8,059 rials per share.
MAPNA Group contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Telecommunication Company of Iran, Informatics Services Corporation and Omid Investment Management Group Company.
Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Mobarakeh Steel Company, National Iranian Copper Industries Company and Pars Petrochemical Company.

Iran Fara Bourse main index, IFX, gained 88.56 points, or 1.46%, to close Monday trade at 6,143.33.
About 2.54 billion securities valued at 25.91 trillion rials ($187.80 million) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.
Esfahan Steel Company had the highest number of traded shares as 315.78 million of its shares worth 931.13 billion rials ($6.74 million) were traded.
Iran Cultural Heritage and Tourism Investment Group Company, Kowsar Insurance Company, Melal Credit Institution and Lavan Oil Refining Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
Marun Petrochemical Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Zagros Petrochemical Company, Middle East Mines and Mineral Industries Development Holding Company and Iran Office Machines industries Company.
