EghtesadOnline: A total of 5,313 domestic flights were operated by 16 airlines from Mehrabad International Airport during the eighth Iranian month (Oct. 23-Nov. 21) to register a 25% rise compared to the month before.
According to Iran Civil Aviation Organization, Iran's national flag carrier Iran Air had registered the highest number of flights from the airport, the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development's news service reported.
Also known as Homa, Iran Air had a 16% share in Mehrabad’s domestic flights during the month under review, operating 847 flights from the airport, 566 of which (67%) were on time.
Following Iran Air was Iran Aseman Airlines with 609 flights, 383 of which were on time, according to Financial Tribune.
Mahan Air was next with 598 flights, 366 of which were on time.
Pouya Air had the lowest share from Mehrabad flights with 48 flights during the month under review.
