EghtesadOnline: Masoud Khansari has been reelected the president of Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture for another four-year term.
As the lone candidate, Khansari won a majority of votes on Tuesday, as 50 of the 52 chamber members participating in the election voted for him.
Khansari, who has been at the helm of TCCIM for the past four years, was born in 1953 in Isfahan.
The ninth election of commerce, industries, mines and agriculture chamber was held on March 2, 2019, in which Khansari’s “Coalition for Tomorrow” won a resounding victory, Financial Tribune reported.
A total of 3,384 votes were cast at Tehran's Chamber of Commerce, setting a record for private sector elections in the capital city, IRNA reported.
