EghtesadOnline: A total of 231,000 tons of commodities were exported to Central Asian countries via rail from Sarakhs Border Crossing in the northeastern Khorasan Razavi Province during the first 10 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2018-Jan. 20), which registered a fivefold surge compared with the corresponding period of last year.

“Cement accounted for 74% of our exported products during the period under review. Our main export destination was Uzbekistan followed by Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan,” Director General of Khorasan Razavi Railroad Organization Mohammad Hadi Ziyaei was quoted as saying by the news portal of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development.
