East Azarbaijan Exports Top $1.6b
EghtesadOnline: East Azarbaijan Province exported 1.95 million tons of goods worth $1.64 billion to 98 countries in the nine months to Dec. 21.
The exports registered a 5.4% and 7.2% growth in weight and value respectively compared with the corresponding period of last year, IRNA reported.
According to Gholamali Rasti, the deputy head of East Azarbaijan Industries, Mining and Trade Organization, the exports mainly included agricultural, chemical, petrochemical, metal and mineral products.
Iraq, Turkey, Afghanistan, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan were the main export destinations, according to Financial Tribune.
