EghtesadOnline: The Roadside Assistance Company has started offering an emergency GPS-based on-demand service to drivers in case of breakdowns.
After contacting the firm, instead of giving their address to the company’s support team on phone, users will send their location through an online service, local news website Asr-e Khodro reported.
The firm sends users a text message that contains a link. By tapping the link a web page opens where users can pin their location on an interactive map. The nearest mechanic will be dispatched immediately.
Users can also track the location of the mechanic on the map and view the time they need to wait until help arrives, according to Financial Tribune.
For using the services those in need may call 096440.
