Iran to Launch Rail Ambulance
EghtesadOnline: The Islamic Republic of Iran Railways has signed a memorandum of understanding with Iran’s Emergency Medical Services Organization to improve the health and safety of passengers, as well as IRIR staff by providing immediate relief to those affected by emergencies on railroads and train stations.
Increasing the first aid knowledge and skills of rail personnel, establishing pre-hospital emergency bases at train stations and transforming 30 passenger lounges to 15 rail emergency lounges and 15 mobile hospitals are the main objectives of the MoU signed by the two organizations, IRIR reported.
