Iran Bans Exports of Chipboards, MDFs

EghtesadOnline: The Ministry of Industries, Mining and Trade has banned the exports of timber, different kinds of chipboards and medium-density fiberboards, in a letter to the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration.

The measure is said to be aimed at regulating the domestic market, as producers and businesspeople in the field have recently complained of scarcity and high prices of raw materials used in their trade, IRNA reported on Tuesday.
