EghtesadOnline: Following the recent passage of the law banning the employment of retired people in state bodies, three deputies at the Central Bank of Iran are set to leave.

According to Boursepress.com, these deputies include Hossein Yaqoubi Miab, deputy for international affairs, Hossein Noqrehkar Shirazi, deputy for legal and parliamentary affairs, and Bahman Mesgarha, deputy for administrative and financial affairs. The law, banning retirees from working in state bodies, aims to promote the presence of youth to inject fresh blood into the country’s public sector. There are, however, exceptions that include the heads of the three government branches, ministers, parliamentary deputy speakers, MPs and members of the vetting body Guardians Council, Financial Tribune reported. The law still has vague aspects where it concerns mayors, for example.
