EghtesadOnline: The Energy Ministry has been appointed as the body responsible for Iran’s joint economic commissions with Russia and Germany.

This was proposed by Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and ratified in the Cabinet meeting of Sept. 9.

Reza Ardakanian, the incumbent energy minister, will from now on chair these two commissions on behalf of the Iranian party, according to Financial Tribune.

Ardakanian is in charge of Iran’s joint economic commissions with Armenia, Sri Lanka, Slovenia, Yemen, Nicaragua and Tajikistan, Bargh News reported.
