EghtesadOnline: The ban imposed on exports of packaging paper and tissue has been lifted. This was notified by director general of exports affairs with the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration, Ali Akbar Shamani, in a directive to customs offices across the country on Tuesday.

Earlier, in a letter to IRICA chief, Foroud Asgari, Minister of Industries, Mining and Trade Mohammad Shariatmadari had announced that the export of tea, in addition to different kinds of paper, tissue, milk powder, infant formula and butter in packages weighing more than 500 grams, is banned as of Aug. 23 until further notice with the aim of “balancing the domestic market”, Mehr News Agency reported. On Sept. 1, tea was removed from the export ban list through a similar directive, Financial Tribune reported.
