EghtesadOnline: Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index gained 706.40 points or 0.52% on Wednesday to end trading at 137,472.36.
About 3.74 billion shares valued at $97.91 million changed hands at TSE for the day.
Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday.
Bank Mellat was the biggest winner, as its shares went up 16.64% to 1,276 rials per share, according to Financial Tribune.
Iran Carton Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 5% to 6,692 rials per share.
Mobarakeh Steel Company was the biggest laggard behind the benchmark’s fall, followed by Iran National Copper Industry Company and Khuzestan Steel Company.
Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Bank Mellat and Pars Petrochemical Company.
The Price Index gained 206.62 points to close at 40,210.88.
The First Market Index was up 210.55 points to post 101,291.38.
The Second Market Index added 2,895.99 points to reach 273,726.48. The Industry Index gathered 336.11 points to register 125,796.72.
The Free Float Index was up 696.02 points to hit 146,399.10.
The TSE 30 went up by 6.73 point to settle at 6,730.5 and the TSE 50 ended 18.30 points lower to finish at 5,971.1.
IFX Up 0.4%
Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX gained 6.17 points or 0.4% to close Wednesday trade at 1,556.36.
About 566.68 million securities valued at $29.61 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.
Esfahan Steel Company had the highest number of traded shares and trade value, as 83.25 million of its shares worth $1.61 million changed hands.
Tabarok Company, Tolid Darou Pharmaceutical Company and Parvardeh Tabas Coal Processing Company registered the highest value increase.
MobinOne Kish Company, Kowsar Insurance and Bahman Leasing Company suffered the biggest decline.
Shiraz Oil Refining Company, Esfahan Steel Company and Khorasan Petrochemical Company had the most positive impact on IFX.
